Built in 1880 and renovated in 2018, the house is a typical example of Porto architecture: a tall, narrow street facade covered in azulejos (ceramic tiles), an elevated ground floor, large rooms with high ceilings (4 metres high), a magnificent central wooden staircase featuring a claraboia (skylight) and an enclosed back garden.

All the original features of the house have been kept: azulejos, parquet floors, carvings, woodwork, wooden shutters, interior granite walls… The garden facade has been modified to provide more access to the exterior.

The house is on three floors and offers over 200 sqm of living space. The ground floor features the hallway and staircase, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, toilets and a veranda overlooking the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster… On both floors there is a bedroom overlooking the garden, each with its own bathroom and veranda (the bedrooms on the street-side are not available yet).

The house has been furnished with vintage Portuguese furniture along with contemporary pieces and holiday mementoes. It has central heating and Internet.
